I’m throwing this one up with no filter; I’m not fancy with my pics, in general, but sometimes I’ll slap a filter on, usually Lark. Other than that, it is what it is.⁣ ⁣ I used to not really pay attention to skincare. I’d use just a basic face wash and moisturizer, but then I became addicted to subscription boxes and started to try out all the different brands and products, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin. Like HUGE!⁣ ⁣ For subscription boxes I get Fabfitfun, Causebox, and Boxycharm.⁣ ⁣ And the beauty brands I’m loving are Elemis, Dr Brandt, and Sunday Riley.⁣ ⁣ But, I’m always on the lookout for more ideas (especially if it ships to my house! I hate leaving my house to shop and I won’t be satisfied until everything I ever need arrived at my doorstep with minimal fuss!)⁣ ⁣ So, what are your favorite sub boxes and/or beauty brands? I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself! I’m Kelly and I’m 48 years old, looking forward to 50. I’m from NJ but call NC home. My husband (happily married you boys and scammers) and I are the proud parents of two young men 19 and 17. I’m a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery and it is my passion! It’s such an honor to be at a woman’s side for her birth. I love all things hair, skincare, cosmetics and beauty. I discovered fitness two years ago and got hooked until I broke my foot last July. I’m struggling to get back into it. I decided to grow out my natural grey/silver after a few years of mulling it over in my head. I thought I’d do it at 50 (shave my head), but after weeks away from the salon on a mission trip, I decided to just let it grow. I looked at my Pinterest recently, and noticed that I had been pinning silver hair years ago! I’m the one who stops a woman with a gorgeous head of silver/grey hair to compliment her. My little IG isn’t just about grey hair. I’m learning new things about skincare and cosmetics and love to share. She is finally here! The new and improved Lala Lala Retro Whipped Cream (couldn't decide on one shot so you get three ). I ordered it Saturday and started tracking it Sunday. It has been a loooooooong wait. (Not really. Quite fast to get it today - Thursday when I ordered it Saturday. But it felt like years! You know when you wait for something good you always wait too f*ing long.) . You have probably read all about this new version already but shortly: The same Lala - with added ceramides. Ceramides helps to soothe and maintain the moisture balance of skin and to protect from water loss. The new Lala still has the blend of 6 african oils that all has their benefits. . As you know I absolutely loved the old Lala so my hopes are high and I am sure I am going to love this one too. The texture is amazing, it feels light and spreads out easily.
