Here are some simple steps that we as adults (parents, teachers, coaches etc.) can take to help teach children about their emotions and how to manage them. As our friend Dr Dan Siegel says, when children can name (their feelings), they can tame them. Well it's the first step towards that anway.

The cheek of it! Over the last few days, you might’ve noticed the #cheektest popping up on social media as part of @pampersuk_ire’s latest ad campaign. So what’s it all about? . Well parents are being encouraged to pour water on disposable nappies and put them on their cheeks to see how dry they feel... Yep, I’m baffled too! ‍♀️ . But what happens to those nappies afterwards? They go straight in the bin, then off to landfill where they’ll sit for hundreds of years. And yet they’ve never even served their purpose on a baby’s bum - what a waste! . Now I’m not saying that disposables are bad, I’m not shaming those who use them (I fully appreciate that cloth nappies aren’t for everyone) and I’m not trying to force my views on anyone but I wanted to highlight what a horribly wasteful campaign this is . That’s why I’m helping @emmareed_writes to fill IG with pretty cloth nappies instead - they won’t stay as dry because they’re not full of chemicals but they do feel a million times softer against your cheeks! #thecheekofclothnappies

We’ve officially said goodbye to all our people in P’cola. I never thought we’d build such deep relationships in a short time. Also didn’t think I’d have my house in boxes for the 3rd time in 2 years & have friends scattered all around the country.
