Good evening, lovelies. . Yesterday, while I was messing with my trusted Paulina Tarot, I got lost in thought about the journey that is divination and I felt a need to share. . I’ve been reading and learning Tarot close to 6 years now and I can honestly say that I’m still grateful for that day I decided it was time that I learned the system itself, instead of just knowing about it. It has done so much good, taught me a lot about myself, helped me grow as a person, get in touch with myself, heal, and lay so many connections in the time I read for others. It is still doing all these things and more. . However, the path of a diviner isn’t always easy and that is something I learned the hard way. A couple of years ago, my life turned upside down and everything changed but I had been warned. For weeks I had been getting the same card, over and over, and the message should have been clear as day. It wouldn’t leave me alone but it never clicked. It didn’t make sense to me and I couldn’t connect the dots to my life, at all. . So when the warning came to pass, blew up and everything settled down again, I had the hardest time picking up my cards. I knew what it had tried to tell me now but I didn’t trust my intuition anymore. I had failed to recognize the message I received and it was the first time I ever did. It had created such a massive dent in my self confidence as a reader that suddenly every reading I did didn’t make sense anymore. Every card caught my mind on blank and my intuition seemed to have left my side completely. For the longest time, I struggled to pick up my cards because I feared that all those years I spend with them didn’t mean anything. But I did anyways, because I love Tarot and it had brought me so much joy before. . It took awhile, and I still sometimes get a fleeting wave of doubt, but I learned to rebuild the trust in myself as a reader. The thing is, when diviners say that you never stop learning, that you will make mistakes because you can’t always see it all, that you will get blanks and need breaks - they say it because it’s true and want others to know that it’s okay when that happens.
