#ihavethisthingwithplants Here she is! My new plant baby - a real life fiddle leaf fig tree! Isn’t she a thing of beauty?! I may seem just a little bit over excited by my new purchase but I have wanted one of these for literally years however they’re not easy to get hold of and I was worried about ordering online because they’re not cheap either and I was concerned what condition one might arrive in. Step forward local plant store superstars @root_houseplants and the lovely Lisa who carried this round to my house from hers and helped me repot it into this snazzy self watering pot - now that’s what I call customer service! (not an AD I paid with my own pennies I just think these guys are great) I just hope I can keep it alive now and that it grows nice and tall . . In other news my big little man finishes school at midday today! Well we are nearly a week in and so far newborn life has been a whole different experience to the first time round! Basically, everything is a bit easier. My toddler is adapting well and Mr Penrose’s paternity has been extended to three weeks. The house is a mess ok well it’s not too bad, we are just about keeping on top of it and are currently having our kitchen measured so it’s not all nappies and midwife appointments!
