Völkerrecht muss an meiner Uni mittlerweile auf Englisch absolviert werden. Ich bin nicht sonderlich begeistert, aber immerhin ist die Prüfung jetzt schriftlich und nicht mehr mündlich. Hat also auch was positives. Ich habe mich schon auf Deutsch etwas eingelesen und da ich das englische Buch noch nicht habe, beginne ich zuerst mit einer Zusammenfassung von Studienkollegen. Ich bin echt gespannt wie ich mit Englisch als Arbeitssprache zurecht kommen werde. . At least it is now a written one and not an oral one like it was before they amended the curriculum. I already read part of a German book, so I have already some knowledge. In der Arbeit ist es derzeit sehr stressig, unter der Woche komme ich kaum zum Lernen. Diese Woche bin ich mehrmals direkt nach der Arbeit ins Bett gefallen. Ich hatte nicht einmal mehr genug Energie um zu Abend zu essen. Auch jetzt am Wochenende habe ich einige wichtige Dinge zu tun, aber ich versuche trotzdem ein klein wenig Zeit für Unikram zu finden. I am tired. I am always tired. I need to study more, so I study this evening too. Just like yesterday and most likely tomorrow too. I do that because I have a dream. No it’s not only a dream, it’s a goal. My goal is to pass this exam and to be one step closer to my ultimate (studyrelated) goal: getting my law degree. I want to be the first in my family with a degree from a university. I want to show all the people who doubt me that I can do this.
