Queenstown is one of my favourite places in New Zealand and is stunning to visit year-round. There's always something new and exciting on offer with the most incredible surrounding scenery. . Have you been to Queenstown? What was your favourite activity if so? I absolutely love bungy jumping (I've done it three times), the Shotover Jet and catching the view from the top of the gondola (pictured).

We headed south from Queenstown today towards Glenorchy. The weather meant our drive there was without issue but when we arrived the low clouds came in, the drizzle started and the wind blew!!! . . The drive there is well written about but terribly underrated! We say that because everything we have read says how great it is....! It’s not great it’s amazing!!!!! . . The 40 minute drive takes 2 hours due to the amount of times you stop to take photos! When you finally arrive in Glenorchy, there is this gorgeous wharf that demands your attention.... . . My three men, as usual, set out to explore it, even though the conditions were not favourable!!! After a morning adventure travelling to Glenorchy, we decided to take a more relaxed approach to our afternoon activities. . . We took a cruise on Lake Wakatipu and explored a real life farm - Mount Nicholas. . . The entire afternoon was just exceptional. Our boys loved the cruise (as did we), the farm tour was picturesque and full of adventure. . . The boys loved the pigs, horses, chickens and ducks! But the stars of the show were the Merinos! They were big and full of life. Our two just couldn’t get enough of them! . . #southerndiscoveries have delivered an absolutely amazing tour. | Vol retour. Ça fait 4h qu'on a décollé et il m'en reste encore 7. Mais ça ce n'est que le premier vol. ⠀ Ça fait des semaines que j'étais plus excité à l'idée de rentrer que de rester. ⠀ J'avais - j'ai toujours un peu - le sentiment d'avoir "fait le tour". D'avoir vécu ce que j'avais à vivre en NZ. ⠀ Et pourtant. ⠀ Et pourtant maintenant que je suis là, assis sur le siège 53F (rangée du milieu, perdu frère), l'excitation à l'idée de rentrer se transforme en questionnement, en doute. ⠀ Je m'efforce de me rappeler régulièrement de profiter pleinement de tout ce que je vis. Putain j'vous promets que je le fais. ⠀ Bah c'est au moment où tu entrevois la fin de quelque chose que tu prends réellement conscience de ce que tu as vécu. ⠀ Et c'est une sensation tellement paradoxale. Un mélange de souvenirs et d'expériences couplé à cette sensation nostalgique t'annonçant la fin de cette étape. Genre c'est fini. Mon PVT en NZ est fini. ⠀ Pire. C'est la fin de mes PVT's en Océanie. Cette pensée m'effraie beaucoup. En quittant l'Australie, j'avais déjà en tête de venir ici en NZ. Comme pour éviter de me dire que je ne reviendrai jamais dans l'coin. ⠀ Mais là, non. ⠀ Donc si toi là, oui toi. Si t'es actuellement en Australie, en NZ, ou peu importe, en train de vivre une aventure, de voyager, en PVT ou non, si ce post devait avoir qu'une vocation, ça serait de te faire prendre conscience de ce que tu vis. Mais vraiment. De l'expérience dans son intégralité. Même si y a des passages difficiles. Pense à tout ce que t'as déjà vu vécu depuis que t'es parti. Et réalise que ce que tu fais c'est fou. Très peu vivront ce que tu vis. Et tu dois en avoir conscience. ⠀ Et si toi qui me lis tu te demandes pourquoi j'écris autant sur ce sujet, crois-moi, tu comprendras quand tu partiras, car ce sont des expériences qui te changent que je souhaite à quiconque de vivre.
