BEADED BUBBLE WANDS We're in a little gap between our studies, waiting for a couple of our library reserves to arrive, so I grabbed some beads and wire while E collected some sticks for this impromptu activity. . I cut some long pieces of wire and made a big loop at the end, twisting the end to hold it in place. The girls formed shapes from there, then turned the piece upside down to string their beads. Once complete, I bent the tip and we used a thin wire to wrap it to a stick (except for the one E thought looked better without). . The Your Words Matter! Post had such a huge response and requests for additional lists so here’s another one of my favorites. Encouragement is SO IMPORTANT for children at any age. Learning is hard. Especially when we are asking them to learn in through the struggle of exploration, investigation, and discovery. Today’s children are too used to information being readily available at their fingertips. Nature Mobile With Clay Bead Collecting nature treasures is something that little wild folk are naturally drawn to do, this little project is the perfect way to keep those more beloved pieces of nature in a place where they can walk by and see them often.
