Crazy bike rides to start with , followed by an extremely random walking path that seem to lead to somewhere or nowhere!? . . But with all achievements, it’s never served on a silver platter, takes some perseverance and in our case some good walking distance off a beaten track! . . The locals hang out here as seen clearly from previously burned out campfires along this picturesque pedestal overlooking the coast. . . What seemingly a tropical climate seem to present a diversity of flora with cactus growth randomly sprouting, beautiful rock outcrops and off course that beautiful secluded beach. . . As we walk down further along the beach, we come across the local fishermen and their families. The little kids waddling in shallow water, the young boys stealing glances at us and the adults too busy with their daily chores. Same but different, different but same, gives me time to reflect on our so-called hectic city life. . . Someone used to say travelling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. . . Without realising, Mommy didn’t post any recipe since January Pardon me for being inactive during this period, so I could really focus on getting better. Despite of having insomnia, I’m feeling so much better compared to few weeks ago. . . ✈️ Today we are flying off to Sandakan, my hometown. And Leia has finished her snacks so Mommy gotta make sth yum yum to keep her entertained during the 2 hrs flight. So I made Egg yolk Butter Beans, it’s shaped like 小馒头 but taste like German cookies, buttery yummy and melts in the mouth kindaJust gotta be patient, it took me 30 mins to shape the dough into little cute balls. . . Consider yourself warned, this snack is very addictive, even for adults . . Egg yolk Butter Beans • Low gluten flour 100g • Unsalted Butter 80g (I use SCS, soften in the room temp) • Icing Sugar 10g (you can choose to omit but it will be really tasteless, Mommy has reduced the sugar level compared to the original recipe) • Cooked Egg Yolk 2 (Mashed & sifted) • Corn Starch 20g • Formula milk powder 10g . . Method 1. Use Electric hand mixer to whisk Butter with icing sugar till it becomes whitish and fluffy. 2. Stir in the mashed egg yolk and mix well. 3. Sift all the dry ingredients into the mixture and slowly mix it to become a dough. 4. Shape the dough into little cute balls (like 小馒头） 5. Bake it with 150c and 15 mins. Let it cool and store in air-tight container, can last for 2 weeks.

My milk supply has slowly dried up ever since I'm pregnant Though Leia knows that Mommy has no more milk milk, she still wants to latch on for comfort‍♀️Honestly speaking, it's quite tiring especially when she would wake up at least twice a night and want to be nursed to sleepApparently she wasn't ready till yesterday night, as usual I was nursing Leia to sleep, after a minute, she turned to me and said: "Neh neh no more..." I took the chance to ask her: "Ya... Mommy has no more milk milk, are you ready to stop and say bye bye to neh neh?" She stoned for a while then waved her hands to my breast and said: "Bye bye neh neh!" Then she rolled off and took her pacifier to sleep. . . It's first in a Long time that Leia slept through the night. Mommy kept waking up to check on her. Unbelievable Leia has weaned off the breast . .
