March 5 is such a perfect day to post some fanart c: Her name is Tuuri, today’s her birthday and she’s one of the main characters in an amazing webcomic called Stand Still Stay Silent by @hummingfluff . As some of you might remember, this webcomic is the main reason I started to draw. And it’s still one of my most important inspiration AND motivation surce. SSSS is a Nordic postapocalyptic story without all that stupid “people are the real monsters” stuff. In this comic the real monsters are, you know, good old human-eating mutated beasts, hundred-legged murder horses, stuff like that. I really appreciate a good story with a proper amount of friendship, adventures and silliness mixed with darkness and even death. Add here some nordic and finnish mythology and Minna’s stunning art style - and you’ll probably understand why I love this webcomic so much. // Я тут фанарт бахнула, несколько неожиданно для себя самой. У этой девочки сегодня день рождения, её зовут Туури и она из вебкомикса, который когда-то переводился как «Замри, Замолчи» (Stand Still Stay Silent). Те из вас, кто меня лично знает или уже давно тут со мной в инстаграме тусячит (соболезную обеим категориям) могут помнить, что из-за этого комикса я в своё время вообще начала рисовать. И, кстати, учить нормально английский, потому что русскоязычного перевода мне было мало, а постепенно он вообще загнулся. Я зверски люблю истории, где достаточно и валяния дурака, и мрачных вещей, даже смерти. Мне нравится постапокалипсис, но я на дух не переношу всех этих дерьмовых посылов а-ля «настоящие монстры - это люди». В SSSS настоящие монстры - это, ну, как бы помягче сказать... монстры. I made this from scratch last night >.> Designer Italian suede (lol), fully lined, with thermoreflective fleece and pleather details.
