I did a home tour, and people LOVED pointing out ALL the plastic in my home in the comment section...⁠ ⁠ I had a relative (we all have THAT relative right?) come to my home after I told them that I was trying to go zero waste and walk through the entire house pointing out every. single. piece. of plastic. ⁠ ⁠ Like I should be embarrassed? I said I wanted to reduce plastic packaging in my life, not move into a CAVE. ⁠ ⁠ Yeah, I got plastic in my home. Light sockets, piano, TV, under the desk pedals, my toilet brush, mY lApToP, laundry basket, old plastic tupperware, old plastic makeup palettes, a dusting broom that makes me feel like I'm in Mary Poppins - And, I'm not ashamed one bit. ⁠ ⁠ I'm sure many of you still have plastic in your home, right? How do you feel about it? ⁠ ⁠ I for one am proud. These are items I kept out of the landfill. If you got it - use it.
