Sometimes I use two different decks mixed together and it's really really interesting. . . .✨First of all, this gives us the possibility to pick up the same arcane in the same reading. The same arcane that answers two different questions shows us if there are conditions that are repeated or maybe blocks or situations that influence our life on several sides. in any case, the same arcane but of two different decks will always have different shades of meaning (given by the artist, by the illustrations, by our connection with each deck and so on). Many of you have asked me the difference between oracles and tarots and how I use them. . . .✨I have to admit that I am not a lover of oracles, I feel more connected with tarot cards and their archetypes. But I’am starting to use them always more. Oracles do not have the same symbolisms, they depend entirely on their creator and do not refer to any system, we could say that they are “free" from any reference. Obviously also the tarot cards depend on the hand of the creator, and each interpretation adds meanings and nuances to the deck, but they are based on archetypes, like a common alphabet. . .✨Personally I consider the oracles an excellent tool to integrate for meditation, but also perfect to investigate our subconscious. It is as if the oracles give me an opportunity to reflect, while with the tarot I feel a sort of relationship, that allows me to develop a reflection with them, a dialogue. . .✨However, I often use them together, and lately I'm mixing a tarot deck and an oracle together. ORACLE DECK REVIEW! Today I will review one of my fav oracle: It is called SUPRA ORACLE and is created by @uusidesignstudio . . .✨The illustrations are BEAUTIFUL (hand-inked by Peter Dunham) and looks like they refer to the style of the sixteenth-century European engraving. The deck is based on the archetypes of the philosopher Carl Jung and the path that each individual faces to reach the awareness of his own personality. . .✨Is it necessary to know Jung's work to use this oracle? Not really. Obviously knowing Jung's archetypes and contextualizing them in his philosophy is useful (and obv interesting), but it is not necessary. The oracle is intuitive and speaks of the two parts of us that live together in our being: conscious and unconscious. . .✨Is it good for beginners? Absolutely yes! The oracles do not refer to the tarot archetypes, so it does not need a prior knowledge of those. They are free from any "code" other than the concept of the artist himself, to whom we give our meanings and interpretations. . .✨The paper is excellent (the same as the deck I have already reviewed "The Carnival at the end of the world"), the deck is made up of 56 cards and each card is really, incredibly complex in its simplicity. One card is enough to make a deep reflection on ourselves and our perspectives. I never use complex spreads with this deck, but one or two cards as a message are enough to start a conversation with ourselves. I recommend it especially to those who have just started reading tarot cards, because it is a great way to become familiar with the deck. . . .✨It is very simple, there are not positions or spreads but a dialogue with the cards. I ask the main question and pull out a card and then establish a dialogue, asking for clarification or simply talking to the cards and pulling them out as they go.
