To the women who believe adoption will give their babies a better way of living and miss them everyday. To those among us who have lost a child either before or after they’ve entered this world. To all that have lost their mother and would give anything for one more conversation or hug. To the mothers working away from home and those who stay - both hard work, no doubt. I’ll never forget a conversation I had with a friend about Mothers Day and the sorrow it brought her. Changed my mindset forever - in a powerful way. The journeys are different, but as women we unite and can be there for each other, regardless of how our path was paved. I have never felt more empowered than the day I brought my boys into this world. Being a mom is my favorite title and the one I have to work the hardest at day in and day out. I am blessed beyond measure and do not take this role for granted. Love you, boys. You are my world. And a special shoutout to the real OG, my mom! Love you! ❤️

•Moed• Als de moed je in de schoenen zakt zit het precies daar waar het zijn moet, om de eerste stap te zetten. Ons nieuwe huis... iets waar ik enorm naar uit kijk maar ook iets waar ik van de week ineens tegenop zag. Niet het huis zelf maar het proces er naartoe....Toen we vorige week hoorden dat we 25/6 de sleutel krijgen zakte de moed mij echt even in de schoenen. We hebben namelijk behalve de verplichte meer/minderwerk opties nog helemaal niks definitief geregeld. Wel veel offertes opgevraagd de afgelopen maanden maar of veel te duur of niet mee doorgegaan omdat ik (te) ziek was om te reageren. Dus zette ik van de week flink wat stappen en regelde een dakkapel, een aannemer, twee badkamers en drie toiletten, een offerte voor de vloer, een schilder en stukadoor, een tuinman en de makelaar. Want o,ja ons huidige huis moet ook nog verkocht worden. Enig voordeel van al zo lang ziek zijn... Het huis is maar materiaal en het komt allemaal vast wel goed. Ik denk dat als dit gebeurd was voor ik ziek werd ik er heel veel stress van gehad zou hebben. #newhome #verhuizen #nieuwbouwhuis
