I've been feeling a lot better mentally lately, I've been able to shake the bad thoughts from my mind and take on a more positive attitude. I've had some time to myself, and some time to just relax and recharge, and it has been really helpful! Alongside that I've been having more wolf shifts lately, (I generally dont shift very much or at all if I'm too stressed and school has been really tough lately..) With my life being so stressful and busy lately I havent really had any time for myself. This weekend I plan on relaxing, cleansing my crystals, brushing all my tails and furs, and wearing my tail around the house to feel more like myself. • Stress gets in the way of my shifts quite a bit, if I'm too stressed and my mind is so occupied on work and school my shifts become less and less common, and that is exactly what's been happening lately. • Maybe I'll do a couple tail posts this weekend as well! (I'm also considering doing a giveaway but I have no idea how to go about it? I want to do a tail giveaway but lots of you are in countries with strict fur regulations. One part of me that are almost constantly shifted are my ears. No other shifts are nearly as common. Personally I am able to physically swivel and move my human ears up, down, back and forward, and on top of that I can move each individually. I never thought about sharing this "talent" of mine until now, because it was just normal for me, but I've since learned that most people cannot even move their ears. • My ears are constantly moving, but since I have long hair it is easier to hide (thank god). If someone is speaking behind me my ears twitch and move back, and if they are speaking to my face my ears move forward. In settings such as a bus, when there are noises coming from behind me and in front of me, I often move one ear forward while holding the other one back, so I can listen better from either way. My ears also move with my emotions or feelings. When I am mad I "pin" my ears back, and when I'm seriously upset they are often pinned back so intensely that it starts to cause discomfort (the muscles ache). • I've done this for as long as I can remeber, I just figured it was normal until I researched it. I'm aware of it periodically because of the sound of them moving underneath my long hair, it's a sort of rubbing/scratching noise, but I certainly become concious when its pointed out. (This happened more when I had shorter hair but they are pretty well hidden now.) Does anyone else share this unique trait? I've been really aching to be with chickens lately, and nests and eggs have really been on my mind. I get such a jittery, excited feeling when I see a picture of eggs (like the ones above) and I just need to nest. I'm so connected with chickens, its unbelievable. I have to be a chicken therian, I've always felt like one- I'm definitely going to be talking to my dad about raising a few more this spring, and if so I will be sure to post pictures of my babies! • Would it be possible that I'm two different species of birds? With one that can soar to fit my shifts, maybe an eagle of some sort.
