A german 20mm anti-air gun (probably mounted on a vehicle) engaging a soviet airfield, a burning Yak fighterplane and a biplane can be seen on the left.
No further information provided, probably 1941/42.

The Evolution of the Stg44 as we know it
This weapon was constructed due to the need of a weapon, which unified the advantages of submachineguns and rifles. First tests were cunducted in 1940, serial production started in 1943, and in September the same year the first weapons were delivered to the eastern front, where it exceeded all expectations.
Because of the demands of many soldiers fighting on the front, Hitler now officially allowed serial production of the 'MP44' , later re-named to 'Sturmgewehr 44' without any production changes.
This gun was reliable, easy to disassemble and only had about half the recoil of the Karabiner 98k. All in all about 450 000 of all types were made.

The Krummlauf (literally: curved barrel) was a modification for the Stg44 and Kar98k, which allowed its operator to look and shoot around corners or over objects without leaving cover.
It was originally created to cover the lack of anti-infantry-weapons of the heavy tank destroyer 'Ferdinand'/'Elefant'. The variant for armored vehicles (2nd pic, Wikipedia) had a 90 degrees curved barrel, which caused the bullets to burst when exiting it, which wasnt necessarily a disadvantage, since it was intended to be used in close quarter combat, creating a shotgun-burst-like effect. Other than that this crazy design worked like it was supposed to, accuracy decreased obviously, but it was absolutely sufficient for close quarter combat, especially in buildings.
Different variants with 30°, as seen in the first pic by @graphica.mechanica , 45° and 90° were built.
It is estimated that around 10 000 of all versions were built from Dec 1943, of which at least 4000 were delivered to the eastern front.

The Artilleriemodell LP08 or Lange Pistole LP08 ('long pistol'), commonly known as artillery luger, was a variant of the famous semi-automatic firearm from 1898, which had a barrel length of 200mm (7.87 in) compared to the 102mm (4.01 in) of the standard version.
The artillery luger had adjustable sights for up to 800m, and was delivered with a leather-cased shoulder stock as seen in the pictures. As the name suggests it was intended to replace the standard issue Gewehr 98's of German artillery crews during the First World War, as they were too heavy and slow during a mostly unexpected attack on the artillery position. Production started in July 1913, authorised by the Kaiser himself.
Quickly it became popular amongst the soldiers, later it was equipped to Stormtroopers, often with a 32-round drum magazine, also called 'snail magazine'. These were availible in early 1917. Further it was issued to pilots and Zepellin crews. It was replaced by the upcoming sub-machineguns, such as the Bergmann MP18.
In 1920, serveral carbine-like designs of this weapon were developed, with barrel lengths up to 600mm (23.62 in), none of them were produced in larger numbers. This pistol then of course saw service in WW2, issued to all kinds of soldiers.
About 250 000 LP08's were manufactured until 1942.
