I added a couple things to the spread this time around: 1) a calendar for the month to encourage the actual execution of certain intents, and 2) using both a regular non-actionable bullet as well as an empty circular “check box”, adding the ability to include items that are reoccurring and/or ideas/meditations. In the past I’d get frustrated when I wouldn’t fulfill an intent that was reoccurring because I’d miss out on a few days or weeks, which wouldn’t give me the chance to tick of checkboxes honestly. So... I’m trying the little “>” bullet. . Last week @ahia.kaeser shared her #bulletjournal with me, which inspired me to get back to paper. I love my iPad and all that #todoist, #trello and #toggl do for me, but I’m re-admitting that paper works for me psychologically and will be re-attempting to return to a hybrid system this coming month. . TIME BLOCKING I’ve been fabricating “more” time these past few weeks by being religious about meeting my daily goals — something that wouldn’t be possible without blocking out my days before they begin, and using systems that work across paper & space. I still use Todoist, MOSTLY to manage my inbox (zeroing it out multiple times per week, by making tasks out of the message as opposed to using my messages AS task reminders). Todoist allows me to attach documents, set reminders, and label tasks... but I pay a bit each year for the Premium version. I prioritize within Todoist, which then shows up in the “Priorities” list, so I’m quickly able to transfer the day’s tasks into my Bullet Journal before blocking my time. In Todoist, I can create “Project” lists to file infinite tasks under, and my “Inbox” list kind of acts as my “Brain Dump”, where I empty my mind of whatever and then file away into task categories when convenient. Todoist’s “Labels” allow me to quickly assign locations to tasks (ie: home office), task types (ie: errands), and names (ie: Business Manager) so I can easily have lists of tasks for isolated events, or take screen shots for team members. I love having the task management system synced across all devices so it’s at my finger tips at any given moment, but I also do best by writing it down on paper TOO, at the start of the week and/or day. I’m going to explain how I use my calendar apps for scheduling and time blocking in the COMMENTS below. Some points in time call for a typical calendar view. Here are my month’s tasks, with some being broken down into weeks. This spread is completely dedicated to just one of my life’s projects, a charter school that I helped found (it follows the Open School model), and we’re halfway through our first school year. As the Board President, I’m responsible for managing many back-end tasks, and my insane number of task collections that are virtually created/organized/delegated on #Todoist aren’t enough; I need the big pieces written in ink. . ‍ . . . After a week's break caused by a chest infection, I decided to post the first post. Today is the last day of this stage of the course. I learned the basics of Sass and Scss. I built a simple navigation in both of them to test the theory I learned today. Above me, the step is through Javascript. _ However, before going to the next stage I would like to learn the basics of CSS Grid and Bootstrap. I think that this order will be the best for my learning path. What do you think about it? _ I also have to start planning what the portfolio page of my friend's bakery looks like. A lot of learning, exercise and work. The most important thing is that I'm almost healthy and I have plenty of energy to realize the plan! ☺And what about the plan is how you plan your days, how do you control your progress? Todoist. ⠀ Иногда я выкладываю сториз, где попадает кусочек Системы, в которой я работаю с планированием задач. Каждый раз Директ разрывает от вопросов, что это за софт всегда один, уже скопированный ответ - «привет, это Todoist”. ⠀ Я начинал с того, что записывал в ежедневнике. Придумывал разные системы, смотрел уже готовые варианты от Архагельского и тд. В итоге все это разбивается, когда задачи на день тупо не помещаются на листочек. Отдельный ахтунг - это перенос задач на другой день. Занимало это очень много времени. Прям нереально. ⠀ Поэтому я перешёл в MS Outlook. Активно стал использовать и был почти счастлив. Вот только интерфейс виндовса 98 смущал весьма сильно - я все таки очень люблю красивое оформление. ⠀ И я начал искать. Скачал все приложения в аппсторе и начал тестить. Оказывается, на рынке куча подобных приложений и в их рядах прибывает всякие Wunderlist, AnyDo, Air task и тд и тп. выбор был тяжелый, поверьте) ⠀ В итоге Todoist. И вот уже 4 года я им пользуюсь. И за это время они стали только лучше. Во всех отношениях:) никаких лишних функций, очень простой в использовании) ⠀ И да, я всегда плачу за софт. Today is the last day of 2018, and I had an appointment with my ‘self’ to reflect on 2018 and plan for next year 2019 is going to be a #GameChanger by using @passionplanner and having @jeremyville #DesktopCalendar! After using @todoistofficial application to plan and #GetThingsDone for few years, and of course I will use it again in 2019, however I’ve felt I also need a pen and paper system to plan more effectively and use my time more efficiently. So, I got my first #PassionPlanner and am very exited of filling it out with actions that will make changes for good in my life, both personally and professionally! Also, it’s the first time I’m using @jeremyville desktop #calendar and have a strong feeling it will help me perceive and appreciate one little BUT important thing each day of life! Это программа Todoist, ее можно скачать для любой оси, установить на телефон или планшет. ⠀ В чем ее удобство?⬇️ ⠀ группировка списков по сферам жизни приятно отмечать выполненное, после отметки оно удаляется каждому делу из любой группы можно еще и присвоить дату есть раздел «сегодня», куда автоматом складываются сегодняшние дела из разных групп, а также то, что сами указываете для сегодняшнего дня можно для разных дел поставить приоритет важности ⠀ Я пользуюсь бесплатной версией и ее функционала мне более чем хватает. ⠀ Самое важное, что делают такие программы - разгружают мысли, уходит необходимость все держать в голове и освобождается пространство для новых идей.Я практически физически чувствую эту свободу, когда все систематизировано и не боишься что-то забыть или пропустить. ⠀ Я использую программку не только для работы, но и веду списки книг, фильмов, покупок и личных дел. ⠀ Расскажите, как вы справляетесь с систематизацией дел?
