Today was a movie. A room full of people that came together to talk about how to help animals. I’m so lucky and continuously humbled to be a part of this. Did a TNR & Neonatal Kitten Care training today at @pasadenahumane with my friend @christhecatguy. We wanted it to be a hands-on training day and that it was! So much about kitten care involves prevention through spay and neuter, so we had a TNR workshop. Everyone was able to roll up their selves learn how to set traps. Afterwards, we brought out the kittens! Each table had a kitten/s to clean, feed and snuggle. We wanted everyone there to feel encouraged, empowered and confident. We were grateful to have other rescue groups in the neighboring communities in attendance today so that those who were interested in getting involved could pair with a rescue near them. (@luxepaws @therescueteam @alleycatrescue @catmanofwestoakland) The best part, so many kittens went out the door today with NEW FOSTER PARENTS! Instead of spending the night in a cage at the shelter, these kittens are spending their night in a loving home! Terenyuh ngeliat betapa lahapnya dia minum. Saking hausnya smp refill Malah dia lbh fokus ke air drpd ke makanan. . Dalam keriaan suasana hari raya & libur panjang sebisa mgkn jgn kita lupakan anabuls jalanan. Segenggam dry food atau 1 sachet wet food udh lumayan banget utk sekedar ganjel perut mrk yg keroncongan. . Maafkan mak ya Pungki. Andai 6 bln yll wkt kamu msh kitten piyik mak msh ada kapasitas, udh pasti kamu mak bawa pulang & kamu udh bahagia di forever home mu . Berkat para streetfeeders alhamdulillah Pungki bisa bertahan hidup smp skrg jd kucing remaja 8 bulanan. Sdh disterilkan pula (minus eartip krn dokternya lupa ). Sunny’s progress. ❤️ Isn’t he a handsome boy? . Thank you for all the people who have been following this boy’s journey and supporting us financially or with supplies he needs. Sunny has gained some weight, his fur is getting cleaner and he’s enjoying his live indoors. We haven’t found a forever home for him so we decided to take him to a felv positive sanctuary (@aslanscats) where he will be living the rest of his life with other kitties with his condition. The return of the Seinfeld kitties went really well, although Elaine looked wobbly coming out of her trap....I don’t recommend anyone just grabbing a cat like that (and later on Elaine did scratch the hell out of me, I just didn’t record that! Lol) but I didn’t want to let her go looking like that so I may hold off on my trapping for tonight and keep an eye on her. (There are many people who don't have time to raise five kittens, but can help give a self-sufficient gentleman like Duke a place to crash). I’m glad to say that he is progressing, slowly, and recently indulged in a few voluntary skritches before breakfast. He meows for meals, and allows pats while eating as we sit close by. Day by day, we're proving that old scars can heal, people can be kind, and sometimes they might even have treats.
