Took Angelica to Tumble Tots this morning and she LOVED it! Baby Ted stayed quiet, I didn't have to get my baps out, nobody cried. Feeling - quite literally - on top of the world. It's one of those days where I think "I can do this!" rather than "oh my god what the hell am I going to do?!" Health status: good. Still a variety of birth-related ailments but am on the mend. Baby-status: excellent. Ted is feeding well and didn't keep me up from 1am-7am, which was a bonus. Baps-status: huge. Moderately leaky but nothing that can't be controlled by wrapping my entire top half in a giant absorbent bed protector mat. Do you keep up to date with my blog posts? For anyone that follows me on Facebook you'll have seen my last post and known I'm not really in a good frame of mind right now and I am struggling emotionally. ‍♂️ THE DAY J CRUMBLED ‍♂️ This week J had his last ever Tumble Tot session. J loves routine and he doesn’t like change. So to say goodbye to something he’s loved for over a year and half was bound to be difficult for him. I expected him to be extra sensitive and for his behavior to be a bit off but what I didn’t realize was just how devastatedly sad he was going to be . J got upset over little things during the session, he then got angry and tried to through folders off the table, he wanted me to go with him to the activities etc . This I expected...but when they were given their graduation certificates he just sobbed. He fell to the floor and sobbed, uncontrollably and with such devastated sadness . I have never seen him this way before. I think it’s the first time he’s had the understanding to know what saying a final goodbye means . He keeps telling me he doesn’t want to leave, he does want to go to school, he wants to see ‘his ladies’. I’m hoping once Tumble Tots isn’t part of his weekly routine that he will feel less sad about it and just remember the fun he had ❤️. We’ve talked about other clubs we can look into joining but at the moment he’s not ready for that.
