It’s officially been one whole week since we’ve weaned & to be honest it may have been one of the hardest weeks we’ve had as a family. Lots of tears, frustration, and cabbage leaves but we’re getting there and Tay’s been a champ—mama not so much (thank God for Daniel ).

Learning to be content is hard. The world is constantly changing which means fads come and go, styles come and go, and things that you once loved aren’t “in” anymore. It’s a constant buying process. It’s taken me a number of years to push the ways of the world aside and just “do me.” I’ve stopped buying things just because everyone else has them or because a shop is coming out with a new clothing line and everyone is getting pieces or constantly changing my house because Target updated their home section. I can’t tell you how freeing it is to solely bring things into your home that you absolutely love and just keep them because you love them. I’m not saying you can’t keep up with the times, never change anything, or never buy new clothes (you guys know how much I love kids clothes)! But I think just learning who you are and sticking with it can be so rewarding (and save you lots of money!) I starting asking myself before buying anything - “Can I see myself using this in 5 years?” And if the answer is no, I don’t get it. (Styling items not clothes or shoes or essentials) Basically what I’m encouraging you guys in is just to be you! Don’t worry about always having the newest thing or keeping up with all your friends. Just be yourself and intentional and style things the way you love!☺️

People are always shocked when I tell them that he's two - he's in 12-18 month clothing and is a bit behind on his vocabulary. Aiden was the opposite - he's always been really tall and was speaking in full sentences by the time he turned two. It's funny how siblings can be so different. I'm not worried though - they all learn and develop at their own pace. Are your little ones big or small for their age?

I rarely do black and white photos, not because I don’t like them, I actually really love them! But I always feel like they’ll clash on my page. Почему предотпускная неделя самая тяжёлая, и откуда в нашем менталитете привычка делать все в последний момент? В общем у меня три дня сделать всё, что я не сделала за месяц. Вчера сверстала и отправила в печать целую кипу мини-книжек. Сегодня покраска шкафа в детской. Шкафом его сложно назвать, это дом в квартире, который два года стоит в натуральном цвете, и вот он дождался предотпускной недели. Я уже не говорю о съёмках, это само собой разумеющееся. Видимо фото не просто так сегодня выбрала, мои дела встают на дыбы, а я держу их из последних сил. Интересно какая статистика на этот счёт? Все планомерно разбираются с текущими делами, или как я, всё оставляют на потом? На фото Алиса и её Уэльский пони Эмма. Лошадка испугалась, когда с территории конюшни - родного дома, её вывели в незнакомый и страшный парк.
