I started my liquid diet about a year ago today. My doctor only put me on a 10 day one , but I decided I would start 4 days early because I was so miserable and couldn't stop eating. It's been a year and I still consider those two weeks to be the most challenging thing I've done on this journey. It was the hardest break up I have ever endured. But oh, how worth it it all was. I’m wearing one size smaller in my scrubs, and feeling SO much better everyday The last 90 days have been a crazy whirlwind, and I am so grateful to be on this journey. At this point my main goals are to eat healthy food, move my body as often as possible, and trust the process. I’ve been stalled for a few days but it’s all good. This one has me speechless⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ This is my bridesmaid dress from my best friends wedding in November 2016. I remember feeling SO uncomfortable in my body and incredibly self conscious in this dress. The dress just hugged ALL the wrong places and was so short (I haaaate my legs more than anything) but I love my best friend so much and just didn’t have the heart to be honest with her about how uncomfortable I felt in the dress she picked! Besides, the other bridesmaids looked amazing and loved the dress so I didn’t want to ruin it for them just because I was overweight. ⁣I was so embarrassed. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ When I got married, my best friend did so much for me and even purchased the $300+ bridesmaid dress that I just HAD to have. When her big day came, nothing else mattered but her and her new husband so I decided to just throw on a pair of spanx (AND control top tights), slap on a smile and act like I didn’t care that I was 3x larger than the other bridesmaids. She had the best day ever and I have these perfect pics for #transformationtuesday!⁣ ⁣ When I put this dress on today, I couldn’t believe how big it was on me. Such a surreal feeling!! It’s amazing to see how far I’ve come and I’m so proud and thankful for my tiny tummy. Batabano 2018 left and 2019 right. Those who say surgery is the easy way out, have no idea what it takes. But for me, the journey has been more than worth it. 100 pounds down from my highest weight, 75 from surgery and my goal was to be down 50 by Batabano. I crushed that by 25 pounds. Why yes, this is another romper and this week I went from never being caught in one to owning 3 • Big confidence breakthrough for me! I’ve always wanted to be able to wear a romper and never felt like I could. I thought I looked like a big round ball with pale tree trunks holding it up. Even when I bought the rompers this week, I told myself I would “sleep on it” to see if I would return them or not. But I think I kinda love them now?!? I look good?!?!?
