I am a MS survivor .................. My initials may be MS, but let’s not forget the T in the middle which resembles the cross that Jesus died on so that I could live this life, and fight this battle while he protects me from anything that may be too much for me to handle. #walkms #multiplesclerosis
This exercise strengthens your CORE (and hamstrings) like no other !
.
Feel free to do this exercise on the ground, your bed, a table, etc ((☝consider how challenging it may be to get off of the surface you choose)) then SLOWLY lower your hands to the surface.
.
Once down, squeeze your abs & slowly raise back up to the starting position ((☝try NOT to forcefully push through your arms)).
.
This exercise will help with core strength when standing up from the ground, with balance while dressing yourself, and so much more!
.
Have you tried this exercise before?!
Celebrating my 20 year reunion this weekend. 20 years, friends!
I walked away yesterday evening feeling grateful that I have my health. I may have MS, but MS does not have me.
So good for the soul to reconnect with so many amazing people that are all over the country.

I’m not particularly pushy or overbearing... unless I’m #hangry . So this post isn’t me being pushy or overbearing at all. Promise.
.
I just wanted to pop into your feed to gently remind you that I’m here for YOU. To help you conquer your Multiple Sclerosis symptoms .
.
To fight fatigue & not let it get the best of you .
.
To exercise without getting heat intolerance.
.
To know EXACTLY which exercises to do at HOME to improve your strength and balance ♀️.
.
See? Casual, right? Head over to my LINK in bio for more info! Oh... and 10% of your membership will be donated towards @mssociety this month for #MSawarenessMonth
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Twin Cities Walk MS today and thank you to everyone who was generous enough to donate to this cause.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We raised over $13,000!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m truly humbled by the support and I know that this fundraising will lead to better drugs and eventually a cure. I can’t wait to spend the afternoon writing personal thank yous to everyone that made this happen. It does not go unnoticed and I am so appreciative

"This past year in my #MultipleSclerosis journey has truly been one of the most difficult things that I have faced in my life. There were moments when my spirit felt completely broken and I questioned if things would ever improve. I looked at my disease through the lens of fear, sadness, and negativity. I saw all of the things that MS had 'stolen' from me and felt like my life would never be the same. .
I was right about one thing, my life would never be the same again. I have a new perspective on health and life that I wouldn’t trade for a million dollars. Truly though, MS has only stolen one thing from me: my naive belief that life should be easy. The lows of this disease have shown me that there is tremendous growth from the hard times in life. The gifts that MS has given me are countless. I’ve learned to be humble, to ask for help (and *accept* that help), and to learn when to say no. I’ve learned who is truly there for me and that it’s okay to not be okay. I’ve learned the importance of prioritizing and preparing, for myself and my kids. I’ve learned to be flexible and be a problem solver, rather than looking for problems. Most of all, I’ve learned to slow down and truly just enjoy the little blessings in life. This disease has made me stronger than I ever thought I could be, that strength is something that I will always cherish. There was once a time when I thought that my diagnosis was the end of the world, but I now realize that it was the start of a much more beautiful world " ~ @ms_amylouiserodgers. #ThisIsMS #walkMS
