Eating a low net carb diet means eating all the amazing delicious carbs out there while feeling energized, full and not deprived. Here is some quick insight on how to make a hell of a shake that will:
✔️ Keeps you full for at least 3 hours
✔️Won’t spike your blood sugar
✔️ Help you manage your energy
How to make a High protein LOW net carb smoothie:
1️⃣Pick a Low Net Carb Fruit –
Gooseberries (1 cup) 15 g of carbs, 6.5 g of fiber, 8.5 g net carb
Currants (1 cup) 15 g carbs 6.5 g fiber, 8.5 g net carbs
Boysenberries (1 cup) 16 g carbs, 7 g fiber, 9 g net carbs
Pears, raw (1 cup sliced) 21 g carbs, 5 g fiber, 16 g net carbs
Loganberries (1 cup) 19 g carbs, 9 g fiber, 12 g net carbs
Raspberries (1 cup) 23 g carbs, 8 g fiber, 15 g net carbs
Apple (1 cup sliced) 20 g of carbs, 4 grams of fiber, 16 g ne carbs
Blackberries (1 cup) 28 g of carb, 16 g of fiber, 12 g net carbs
Mango: (1 cup in pieces) 24 g of carbs, 3 g fiber, 21 g net carbs
Strawberries (1 cup halved): 17 g of carb, 7.6 g of fiber, 10 g net carbs
Blueberries (1/2 cup) 10 g of carb, 2 g of fiber, 8 g net carbs
2️⃣ Add a L O W C A R B M I L K. I don’t love water in my smoothies personally I much rather a low carb milk choice. Pick one of these instead. PER 1 CUP - Almond Milk: 2 grams of carbohydrate, Soy Milk: 4 grams of carbohydrate, Flax Milk: 1 gram of carbohydrate, Coconut Milk: 1 gram of carbohydrate, Hemp Milk: 1 gram of carbohydrate, Cashew Milk: 1 gram of carbohydrate. *Nutritional info is based on unsweetened varieties*
3️⃣ Add a protein powder (make sure it has a low NET carbs) One of my favorites are Orgain Protein Powder Plant Based per 2 scoops it has 21 g of protein, 15 total carbs, 7 g fiber and 8 g net carb
4️⃣Use a plain Greek yogurt that is high in protein. Some will have high carbs others will have only 6g of carbs coming from lactose. I like Fage and Chobani non-fat plain Greek yogurt 5.3 oz
5️⃣Mix PB2 into it or 2 tb of completely natural no sugar added Peanut Butter
6️⃣ Need it to be more sweet? Add 1 packet of Stevia
I dry-fasted 48 hours and this is what happened. .
As I am approaching 48 hours of no food, no water, and no contact with water whatsoever, I am starting to realise that I am actually completely fine, and could probably keep going with no problem. However, I was only able to take 2 days off from my commitments this time around, which forces me to break the fast now in order to be present and productive with my work. .
However, having experienced the physical and emotional benefits of dryfasting, I can’t wait to do it again, and I have already planned an extended dryfast starting April 7th. This time, I am shooting for 4-5 days. I honestly can’t wait.

It took me 30 hours to reach a state of ketosis, and this is also the point where autophagy sets it. Autophagy is an extremely beneficial and healing process, that basically forces your body to use old waste and damaged cells as fuel. The benifits of autophagy are many, some of them being improved longevity, cancer killing, restoring youthful skin, etc.

Here is what I experienced in the past 48 hours.

1. My face has cleared up significantly.
2. The skin all over my body has tightened immensely.
3. I feel aligned, full of hope.
4. My senses have sharpened. I see and feel everything around me with more intensity.
5. I feel 100 times stronger than I did 48 hours ago. A mental and emotional shift has happened, and I now have a much more positive outlook on my health journey than before.
6. I feel happy, at peace, and aligned. My appetite has been leveled completely, I have no cravings, no yearnings for any kind of food that is not in 100% alignment with good health. This is a big one for me, because since having cooked food at a huge vegan party a couple of months ago, I have been feeling out of alignment ever since.
7. My eyesight improved.
8. I lost a huge amount of weight and actually went down a pant size. I will not specify further, because weightloss was NOT my motivation for this, neither do I want to promote dry fasting as a weight loss tool. It is for healing only, in my opinion.
