Got my blue frost tail from White rabbit taxidermy! It is 22 inches long and a lot more compact than my red fox lol The fur is super thick and heavy and would definitely last out in the snow! -tails- I see many therians prefer tails that match their theriotype, but it doesn't make much difference to me? I decided to put some thought to that because it honestly didn't make sense to me, but I think I get it now. As a fox, I didn't ever care to see myself, my colors, or anything. On top of that, I saw fewer colors than my current self can. I knew I had a tail cause it was part of me and helped me out, even then I didn't put that much thought towards it. Now, as a human being, I may miss my tail but its color still doesn't have an effect on me. So I put style choices towards the colors I wear because humans can see more color and form an opinion on them. Same thing goes for ears. But over all, I often just like seeing myself with ears and a tail and I cant really be sure if that's just an aesthetic thing or if it helps to fit my mental image of myself. Or both. Tail appreciation post~ Cross fox! I got this cross fox as a prize from @the_tail_shop and it's gorgeous. 15 inches long and super soft with an orange marking and black stripe. Has a kinda crystal foxy colour to it! The leather is a decent colour and flexible with no stiff areas! The fur is healthy looking with a slight Matte but it's barely visible and natural. With time I could clean that area up with brushing. The top is a sturdy little lobster clasp which isn't super obvious and helps to make it look like a realistically attached tail.
