Para una #familia de un niño con #discapacidad encontrar un lugar donde no sólo se hagan promesas de contención, de #amor, de respeto, de hacer todo lo que sea posible por su bienestar, de atención y de valorarlo por lo que es no por su diagnóstico, sino que además esas promesas se cumplan implica haberse ganardo la #paz. No hay sensación más inexplicable que la que sentimos cuando nos llegan fotos o propuestas desde el jardín para hacer de la vida de Beni una vida digna. . Qué más puede uno pedir . Insisten en que es su trabajo que no hacen nada extraordinario. Realmente no tienen idea de todo lo que están haciendo y logrando. Entendemos que es su trabajo pero definitivamente eso que hacen va más allá de las tareas del docente como profesión eso que hacen es vocación y vocación con todas las letras. . Sitting is something we are still working on for Win. We spend a lot of time on his walking and balance but sitting continues to be a challenge. When he sits criss cross, his back is rounded and he has a posterior pelvic tilt. We’ve been using estim to strengthen his base of support and you can see what a significant difference it makes for his posture. We take a lot of videos to compare if something we’re doing is working or not. I’m not a PT and don’t have a trained eye at all for picking up on small changes, it has to be pretty significant for me to notice anything . I also slow videos down to see the movements. These are videos of Win before and after doing 10 min of exercises on the vibration plate. He does not have his Theratogs on. His steps look a lot straighter and more controlled. He seems to have less of the exaggerated leaning motion at his trunk too. I can always feel the difference in Win’s body after using his Galileo plate but now I think can see it too...unless I’m going .
