When you work hard and persevere, even the most outlandish, unfathomable accomplishments can be achieved.
#FeatureFriday for this week is a HEAVY set of bench press. 405 pounds for 10 reps, performed by OSL Athlete and Elite Powerlifter, Jay Brophy (@mulatto_muscle). Jay is making it look easy. It's not.
In February, Jay had to undergo wrist surgery. Whereas others may have shied away from training heavy ever again, Jay was back to pumping iron the same day he was given clearance to lift by his doctor. He is now training for a powerlifting meet. Nothing can stop him from achieving his goals.
When asked about how he gained his strength, Jay says "It all comes with time". Patience is key. Stay on the grind, work harder and smarter, and push passed the preconceived limits you thought you had.

which has in turn, increased our
