As I strolled down memory lane today, I came across this original sound track recording that was a member of my small collection close to 50 years ago. . I didn't see the film until much later and I'm trying to remember who gave me this LP as a present (unusual, I think, for a young boy to be given the sound track to a film which was definitely not for his age group). . What I do remember though is that, as a result, Simon & Garfunkel's "Greatest Hits" became one of the first LPs that I bought with my own money in 1972.
