We had an awesome gaming night. BLACKOUT: HONG KONG is as good as how bad its theme is. Artwork is too dark and dull. But it plays extremelly well! Fantastic game! . Another play(s) of EXPANCITY didn't really go well. The game is too long for what it is and luck factor is absolutely too high. It looks pretty on the table, but that is not enough. . FLAMME ROUGE also has gorgeous presence, but it is a better game... probably... we're not sure because we played it wrong xD very, very wrong. . TOKYO JUTAKU is fun little dexterity real time game that is not really little. Clans of Caledonia by Karma Games is a mash up of different games and mechanics, but it works! You can see Terra Mystica there, Mombasa, Navegador and the game looks like Isle of Skye! But borrowing things from other games is not a bad thing, especially when they work good, as they do in Clans of Caledonia. Gameplay is smooth, theme is nice, rules are clear. Overall it's a great game, with a lot smaller box (respects the shelve space!) and it's play time is very reasonable. Clans of Caledonia highly recommended!
