Happy World Vegan Day! I’ve been vegan for about 5 years now and I am vegan for life. It’s a good way to reduce your environmental impact, have a healthier diet and decrease animals being “manufactured” and slaughtered worldwide. At the beginning of going vegan it was hard to find vegan shoes and bags. But this struggle has become the most fun part. There are so many gorgeous vegan and ethically made shoes and bags out there. Jill and I jotted off to Austin, Texas for a couple days and took in @sxsw in partnership with @icebreakernz . We sat in sessions featuring NASA, the Instagram Founders, Gwyneth Paltrow and a few other inspiring speakers. We also took-in the trade show which was my personal favourite as it featured cutting edge startups, toy robots and a booth featuring @icebreakernz . Missing the snow and the magical look of the city ❄️. But I’m not complaining. Where I am right now it’s around 30°☀️. I’m soaking up some vitamin D, adjusting to the jetlag, the food and the heat.
