Day 24 of #may30x30 . . This challenge really pushed me to get dressed each day this month (aka no leggings), and man has it made such a difference in how I feel and how I carried myself at work. Even though I haven’t photographed myself each day, I really have been participating in this challenge everyday (even if it is repeating outfits through out the month). This month has really reinforced the idea that clothing is so so so powerful. It has the power to make you feel confident or so ugly; and this month, I made sure that it empowered me. . . There was a long time where I did wear leggings to work (with oversized sweaters and tees) and those were the days I felt so bad about my body and about myself. Now that I’ve been living with my capsule wardrobe and only letting clothes that make me feel good in my home, my relationship with clothes has really changed for the better. My blogger outfits and my real outfits are now one and the same, and it has been so wonderful to see everything come together. . . I picked out this top as part of my 30 items, and I figured the last week of this challenge was as good as any to pull it out. I wish I were wearing it again while traveling along the coast, but this outfit still made me feel great for this beautiful Friday. Happy long weekend everyone! #pleblife

Does she linger over coffee or go to the gym before work? How does she walk into work? Does she go out after or make dinner? And what is she wearing for each of these moments? . Six years ago, on this day, 1,134 people died in the Rana Platz factory collapse because of our demand for faster and cheaper fashion. . Today the minimum wage of a factory worker in Bangladesh is €84/Month. 11,474 workers have been fired without notice because of asking for higher wages. Their outstanding wages have not been payed. 3,084 workers have been legally reported by the management, and are now under the eye of police and judiciary! . The #WhoMadeMyClothes campaign is there to put pressure on fashion brands to become more transparent and ethical with their supply chain. . Today I won’t buy, work or support fashion brand which cannot demonstrate ethical manufacturing practice. . So much more, I am overly thankful to be working on a @fashrev_de project with this wonderful woman @marianamorrell who runs a platform @desvista_ where she promotes using what you already have instead of buying new things ♥️ .
