Tasting this lovely Rozsavolgyi Perú 71% (contrast and compare with Raphio Peru 72%). Color: light dark chestnut with purplish and reddish hues. Sound: perfect snap. Aroma: spices, cocoa, vanilla, flowers Tasting notes: cream, flowers, cinnamon and cocoa. Barely bitter by the end. Mouthfeel: smooth and creamy. No astringency Aftertaste: medium length, Cocoa, roasted notes, nice bitterness before it fades away This bar is outstanding ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Closing the week with a Dandelion tasting. Every time I opened that book, lent by my friend @natalia_satto , I had to get me some (any) Dandelion bar. Ecuador, Costa Rica and Honduras. Same percentage, different notes. Equally delish ❤️

Atómica esta Collab entre @caochocolates y @switchboxcoffee ❤️☕️ Honduras y Guatemala se unen en esta barra exquisita en la q, a pesar del aroma especiado del cacao, predomina la nota del café. Me llevé la última. Arañando hasta el último pedacito ❤️❤️

Ensamblajes/blends Igual que las cepas de vino, el cacao tiene variedades. Una barra puede ser monovarietal o de origen singular o puede ser un ensamblaje o blend si combina diversos orígenes o variedades de cacao. Dick Taylor y Soma se lucen con estos ensamblajes en sus barras “Northerner Blend” (cacao de Brazil y de Madagascar) y “Crazy 88” (cacao de Ecuador, Peru y Venezuela). Sin prestar atención al proceso de tasting, aparecen unas claras notas gratamente aciditas en el 1o y notas a crema y flores como jazmín en el 2o. Como hago para que no se acaben ✨

Having the last piece of this dreamy Naive PB bar ✨ Naive is a Bean to Bar chocolate maker from Lithuania Domantas Uzpalis has won Naive several awards, with his gorgeous bars. This one has a creamy mouthfeel and the PB note is not shy at all, giving the bar an amazing nutty flavor I can’t get over the fact I had my last piece ❤️
