A big part of health is not only what you eat and moving your body but also the products you use every day, what you breathe in, put on your skin, even the brands and types of food you eat! My personal experience with switching from regular foods to organic (85% of the time) was unbelievable. My drowsiness, heavy feeling, extreme headaches, and more improved. Specifically, exercising while pregnant can be beneficial for women who have a history of preeclampsia, gaining an excessive amount of weight during pregnancy, or gestational diabetes. Most exercises are safe to perform during pregnancy, as long as youexercise with caution and do not overdo it. Baby mommas (especially those about to give birth or who have), or anyone who wants kids ever... or anyone who is planning on aging.. listen up . I’ll be honest, I’ve never done these core exercises before (other than plank) because in my mind these weren’t the exercises that will give me “abs” there are more efficient exercises for that but now that I’m pregnant I care more about overall body function and health than even before. . We are going to talk about TWO ✌ key component here PELVIC FLOOR and TRANSVERSE ABDOMINIS . Training your PELVIC FLOOR helps bladder and bowel fun, as well as urinary control (peeing when you laugh or running isn’t normal), and sexual function. The moves shown must be done correctly to efficiently work the pelvic floor❗️see notes at bottom for form tips . TRANSVERSE ABDOMINIS is the deepest of abdominal muscles and helps protect your spine as well as aid in stability (pelvic stability as well). . Perform each of these exercises about 8-10 reps each 3x through . important: You are going for deep breathing here. This core workout should take you longer than a typically core workout. Breathing focus is important. 1️⃣ Bridges: Modification: don’t use ball ✔️Form: On the ground relax Bally and core, inhale. At the top, think of pulling the inner lower part of your abdominal muscles in and up contracting your core. It should also feel as you’re doing a kegel at the top as you pull in (I’ll let you google that if you don’t know what that is) 2️⃣Elbow to Knee ✔️Form: Inhale as your elbow touches your knee. Exhale and pull everything in and up (kegel again) and contract as you stretch the opposite leg and arm out 3️⃣Plank I guarantee 89% of people do a plank wrong and appear to be doing it right. If you do it right, it’s extremely hard to hold longer than 30s, it’s not just a static hold. Modification: Hands and toes ✔️Think about trying to pull your toes and elbows to touch each other to do this you’re pulling everything in and up toward your head direction kegel here as well. ❗️Try doing this in 10 second intervals and exhale and relax belly and core as you touch one knee down 4️⃣Cat Cow Breathing is cont. in comments
