I have followed @chateau_anthonic for a couple years on IG now, so when I found a perfect mature bottle from a "decent" vintage too in my local wine store, I had to give it a try. . CHÂTEAU ANTHONIC 2005 Cru Bourgeois Supérieur Bordeaux Moulis-en-Médoc 57% Merlot 41% Cabernet Sauvignon 2% Pertit Verdot and Cabernet Franc Matured in French oak barrels . The bouquet opens up after around twenty minutes of air in the glass. Ready to reveal beautiful notes of cinnamon, blackberries, cherries, permanent marker, pencil and minerals. The palete is well balanced with medium acidity to match the mellow fruit. Medium bodie and a great structure. The tannins are soft and completely integrated with a fine and elegant texture. It has notes of coffee, black plum and dates, with a long and pleasant finish. This is a very lovely wine, in a beautiful spot right now, and I wouldn't advise to save it for much longer. .
