There’s a season for everything. These past 6 months have been weirdly exhausting. Lots of travel combined with my health not being on point definitely set me back. I wasn’t able to focus on my physical practice as much as I wanted to which led me into a weird still point in life. Why did it affect me so much? Because I gave movement up most importance, it was my choice and at times, my downfall. I watched my anxiety slowly creeping back and impatience setting in. ⠀⠀ ⠀ Life is weirdly layered. Some things have to be put on hold for other parts to grow. That’s why progress is not linear and oftentimes not visible. Sometimes it takes progress in more areas of life for us to finally feel that things are moving (although they were never truly stagnant). And that takes time. And many times, you see yourself stepping forward in one direction while making two steps back in another. Yet all has its sense and purpose. ⠀⠀ ⠀ With my health slowly getting better, there’s a newfound energy that wants to get out. So I’m gonna use some of these built up anxieties and frustrations and turn them into fuel. I have been in a self study hermit mode for quite some time. And although I do believe it was extremely important, It’s time to put it to use now. I’m excited to share that I’m getting back to teaching! I’m sitting with my journal right now and writing down everything I would love to share with you and create. I’m also doing it selfishly for myself - as I believe teaching is the best way to learn. You can’t only consume, you have to give back and start a conversation in order to refine the process. I want to start leading more workshops, share with you the movement practices I have been learning over the years while in hermit mode and get to know this community better ❤️ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Let me leave you with this: Sometimes it takes a long walk in the mud before you can experience the freshly cut grass on your feet again. Let’s trust the process.
