3 year rabies vaccines are available in Dubai This is just absolutely amazing news for every single dog and cat parent in Dubai! Some of you might have been following our Stories on clearing up the confusion regarding this vaccine. We have made many calls, many visits and written many emails and are so happy that as a result, @blueoasisvets is the first clinic to announce they are officially offering 3 year rabies vaccines! Prior to our research, dogs and cats were getting rabies vaccines annually and we are so happy that now pet parents will have the choice of vaccinating with a 3 year vaccine instead. This is a big step in regards to stopping the harmful over vaccination of our pets which can cause cancer, arthritis, autoimmune diseases and even worse. Going from yearly to every 3 years means less toxins for your pets and healthier bodies. To clarify, rabies is the only vaccine mandatory in Dubai. DHPPi is administered during puppyhood as a core vaccine but not required to be up to date in adult hood. Does this mean you should not vaccinate against these diseases? We cannot advise you on this. To vaccinate against DHPPi annually or every couple of years is a very personal decision. Knowledge is power and you owe it to your animals to be fully informed about what you are injecting into their bodies so do your own research on these vaccines and decide for yourself. Dr. Schultz has made it his purpose in life and has been studying the duration of immunity of these vaccines for over 40 years. He will be a good source of scientific research for you. Today is an amazing day. Hopefully more vet clinics in Dubai will be able to offer the 3 year rabies vaccine, but at least you know who has it stocked! Good morning everyone! We have been pretty much MIA this month and we apologize for that! This month has been super busy with some amazing and exciting things that have been coming our way! Our film dedicated to dog cancer awareness, documenting our journey from #Dubai to the Raw and Natural Dog summit in Chicago is almost finished and will be dropped on you guys soon! You won’t have to wait for too much longer! This past month we were able to connect with a bunch of key people within the raw feeding community and wow, this is one big pack of AMAZING human beings!!! It amazes us and inspires us with all our hearts to see how welcoming and supportive the community is! It reaffirms to us that we are exactly where we belong in life! Dogs are broken and they will only win when we work together, not against each other! A week ago we had an interview with Kimberly from @keepthetailwagging_kimg (you must check out her blog) which was just amazing. After she saw the preview to our film, she got so excited she called Rodney Habib! Wow! Just WOW! I guess the reason of this post is just to let you know, we are still here! Monday morning meat cravings!

Today’s meal contains an eye . Eyes, no surprise, have little nutrient data available. What is known is they have the largest concentration of zinc in the body. The eye is also a rich source of DHA. With DHA being the primary fat the retina is composed of. The eye also contains a decent amount of vitamin A. As such if fed they should be a small percentage of the meal & large eyes such as this not a daily meal addition. It stands to reason that the dietary nutrient’s necessary for eye health are naturally found within the eye. The most common way to incorporate eyes into the diet are in feeding heads such as those from poultry & small prey mammals such as rabbits or mice. Also whole fish. And of course any whole prey or whole animal grind. Occasionally select online retailers sell beef eyes as well. While eyes may not be a requirement in your pets diet as always I advocate for utilization of the entire animal. So if it’s an option to you, drop an eyeball in the bowl!
