First lot of barrels in for 2019 harvest and this particular lot is from Seguin Moreau @seguin_moreau. Oak Farm Vineyards purchases premium high-quality French, American and Russian oak barrels for their wine programs and this is just the first set of many. Can you tell I’m having a great Monday? It’s my Saturday, okay?! If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that Lodi is one of our favorite wine regions to visit. It’s so beautiful that it makes me consider moving from city to country living. We’re taking our days off this week to visit some new wineries and some of our favorites leading up to #ZinFest May 17-19th! Today we visited @harneylanewinery and @mettlerfamilyvineyards, both connected through 5 generations of family farming and certified sustainable! Can you even handle this perfect garden picnic spot @harneylanewinery!? We ended the day @acquiescewinery tasting their rare white varietals they make some of my favorite white wines ever. Lodi May be known for their zin but all the wines we tasted were diverse and #ZinFest serves up the best Lodi has to offer, from lighter Spanish varietals to old vine zins and tickets to the super fun event are still available, cheers friends!
