Heute gibt‘s eine neue Übung von #msgymnastics - leider ohne schönes Titelbild, weil ich vergessen habe ein Foto zu machen. ‍♀️ Was bewirkt diese Übung? Man kann seine Wendungen verbessern und an der (wechselnden) Biegung des Pferdes arbeiten. Super zur Gymnastizierung und vor allem auch praktisch für den Stechparcours! Wie wird sie geritten? Ihr seht schon auf dem Video - eine Vorgabe gibt es nicht. Es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten, wie diese Übung angeritten werden kann. Das macht sie auch passend für jedes Pferd, da man je nachdem engere oder weitere Wendungen reiten kann. Wie wird sie aufgebaut? Die Übung ist ruckzuck aufgebaut, indem man einfach vier oder mehr Stangen im rechten Winkel aneinander hängt. Achtung - für Galopp war sie hier zu nahe an der Wand aufgebaut. Man kann die Stangen auch auseinander ziehen, um mehr Platz zu schaffen. Für wen ist sie geeignet? Diese Übung ist für jedes Pferd-Reiter-Paar geeignet. Wichtig ist nur, dass man die Wendungen entsprechend dem Ausbildungsstand des Pferdes wählt, um es nicht zu überfordern. I made a little info video to guide you through a super simple gymnastic exercise that I like to do to get my boys nice and collected and making a good shape over the fence. I know it’s nothing too exciting but thought it may be useful for those without a trainer and with limited jump equipment! You just need some poles, 2 sets of wings and some buckets/pots from IKEA I do a little exercise like this in the week leading up to a show to get Con collected and bouncy cause it’s something that doesn’t come naturally to him as he’s such a long, tall horse I alternate between coming from the left and from the right by the way to keep things even. You want to make sure you keep your body very quiet with your shoulders and head straight the whole way down the line to avoid throwing your horse off balance - let your horse do the work and keep out of his way :) Soft hands and a strong leg to keep everything forward and fluid and don’t over fold over the fences.
