As ocean I am using cooked spaghetti and this time I followed @mothercould suggestion to add coloring to the water WHILE I cooked the pasta! (I did end up using more coloring & the blue color is not very dark but the benefit ~ Pasta does NOT stain the hands!!!) ❗️TIPS: rinse with cold water once pasta is cooked and dry with a paper towel. Store in a zip lock in a fridge for a few days before tossing. This awesome ocean play was inspired by @grays_at_play Please, let me know if you did it and I will give you credit too.. I have to check my @tagfromtheheart SMALL WORLD highlight . . . ⚠️IMPORTANT: I generally use ❌EXPIRED food (or if it fell on the floor, or if it is not suitable for eating), and I am VERY reluctant to use a LOT of edible food! So, open your cupboard and look for food that has passed its expiration date! . Paper Plate Birds ⠀ ⠀ It’s Feathers week over on @get.creative.with with guest judge @creatingcreatives and I can’t wait to see all the fun feathery ideas that are sure to pop up on the #getcreativewith feed. ⠀ ⠀ These paper plate birdies are one of my favorite spring themed art projects. This is the second year in a row that these cuties will be hanging in our art window. I love opening the dining room blinds every morning to see all of C’s spring art work. ⠀ ⠀ Also, if you’ve never dumped a boat load of feathers into a bowl and went to town getting crafty with them you should really try it.
