The GlenDronach 1991 Kingsman Edition, was chosen from some of the finest sherry casks the distillery has to offer, with a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez. Matured for over 25 years, this patient endeavour has created a style that is distinctively GlenDronach: richly sherried, elegant and full-bodied to the very last drop. Vintage 1991 - Bottled 2017 - 48.2 % ABV only 2137 bottles. ✨Tasting : Aroma: Stewed dark fruits, currants, maple syrup, treacle, vanilla, leather, raisins, orange zest, cinnamon rolls. Very complex nose. Taste / Palate: Also stewed fruits, black grape, vanilla, plums, orange marmalade, cinnamon, ginger cake, treacle, a leathery note, marzipan, tobacco and bitter dark chocolate. The Dewars Signature is created with whiskies between 14-30 years of age that are blended and then aged in oak barrels to marry. At its heart is 27 year old Aberfeldy, a single malt distillery located in the Highlands. The packaging must be noted as the box with this bottle comes in is sturdy and coffin like with a gorgeously shaped bottle snuggled inside. ✨Tasting : Aroma: Stewed fruits (apricot), barley sugar, sealing wax, sultana, coconut, light sweet spices and crystallised fruit Taste / Palate: Honeyed sweet barley, buttery vanilla, burnt sultanas sherry.
