It’s Day 124 of the Sea Side Scarf. It’s another gloomy, grey, showery day. I knitted my four rows in seed stitch (turbulent/ruffled water), using @redheartyarns Light Grey Super Saver worsted weight yarn to match the water color. One more day, and one more day of rain. I have nothing left to say about the weather. I took the scarf out the the porch to take my photos, and it started to rain again. In my photo and video today I made sure to get the two sailboats that are the first on the moorings this year. At least someone is proceeding on the belief that there will be warmth and sunshine again. We had a few occasions when the sky lightened, but the sun never appeared even faintly. With a temp of 49 degrees, It actually felt colder compliments of wind out of the northeast. Today we have broken the record for the most rainy days with measurable precipitation in April (20), and with rain predicted for the next two days, it looks like we will add a few more days to that total. We haven’t had the most precipitation for the month, thank goodness, but there has been enough rain that through two days of sun, the water kept draining off of Great Hill. It is Day 117 of the Sea Side Scarf. It was very windy with whitecaps kicked up all day. I knitted my four rows following chart one (whitecaps), using @redheartyarns Windsor Blue Super Saver worsted weight yarn (water), and @redheartyarns White Super Saver worsted weight yarn (whitecaps). I measured the Scarf today and added fifteen and one half inches, bringing the entire Scarf in at one inch shy of five feet, at fifty-nine inches. I now need to use the extendable selfie stick to take the photo of the whole Scarf. We are expecting more rain tomorrow.
