While I was working on my marled striped cardigan tonight I was thinking if it would be helpful to show how to make one row color stripes for flat knitting. Since my RS side is reverse stockinette stitch there is no much difference between one or two row color change. But for regular stockinette stitch the difference exist. . I've made a video (swipe left to see both 2 parts) how to do one row color stripes for flat knitting: Row 1 (RS): knit all sts with color 1. Do not turn work. Move all sts to the right side of you needle. Row 2 (RS): knit all sts with color 2. Turn work. Row 3 (WS): purl all sts with color 1. Do not turn. Move all sts to the right side of you needle. Row 4 (WS): purl all sts with color 2. Turn work.
