Friends often ask how I handle 3 kids alone without a helper? Honestly, I feel a lot better now than 6 years back with 2 kids under 3! Man... those were dark days because everyone is soooo needy and no one is actually useful around. • But now that my older 2 are 8 and 6, sentient, (often) open to taking instructions, it’s a lot easier! I can have lunch while the older 2 entertain the baby. She’s at an exhausting stage where she climbs gates and strollers at every opportunity I will play this game where I’m queen and I’ll holler, “Guards! Seize her!!” And my 2 faithful guards will run to carry her down. Lol So much fun. And it never gets old. Is #phoebefoong really going primary school in 6 mths time?! . Today was the Primary School experience excursion at Pioneer Primary School. The children had lotsa fun visiting the different venues in the school, try out different CCAs, watched performances and even had a mass PE lesson! Of course, the highlight will be them going to the canteen to buy their lunch. ️ . Although Phoebe ended the session with a tummy ache and have been sleeping for the past 2hrs, I am certain this experience enabled her to have an insight of how a primary school looks like and how some classes are conducted. . @elvinfoong has been unwell for 3 days, nursing a massive flu and on and off fever. BUT other than his loud nose blowing and quieter/less enthusiastic playtime, you won't be able to really notice that he is actually unwell. We did not miss any appointments and work continued. Prior promises made to our kids about going to the park and having a picnic also happened. He also disciplined himself to be engaged during discussions and meet ups and did not cause uneasiness or inflict frustration on others. . He apologized to me last night for having "man-flu", a term commonly used on how man exaggerates their flu symptoms, macham like some terminal disease. Frankly, @elvinfoong was not at all doing a man-flu. He held it together, tough and good. ❤️ . He experienced healing during @celebrationofhope.sg in the morning when the family laid our hands and pray for him and is surely on the journey of recovery. However, do continue to pray with us that each of us will be strong and healthy! . ANDDDDDD cheer my hubby on! Commend and praise him also! Hahaha . . Ended today with some home-cooked cod fish porridge.
