3 OF MY DAILY NON-NEGOTIABLES FOR GROWTH ⁣ ⁣ (1.) Time with the Lord (Spiritual Growth) ⁣ ⁣ This is HUGE for me as it sets the tone for each of my days and helps position my heart in the right place ❤️ ⁣ ⁣ I’ve noticed that when I skip out on this time, I am more reactive instead of responsive to life’s unexpectedness ⁣ ⁣ This time also allows me to develop a deeper personal relationship with the Lord which is what guides the way I live my life + the woman I become! ⁣ ⁣ (2.) Working out (Physical / Mental Growth) ⁣ ⁣ Beyond the typical reasons of wanting to become stronger and more toned, working out is the MAIN way that I have been able to manage my anxiety ⁣ ⁣ I workout 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) and ALWAYS do it in the mornings. If I don’t go in the A.M., I tend to not go at all #guilty ⁣ ⁣ (3.) Quiet Time (Mental / Emotional Growth) ⁣ ⁣ Fun fact about me - as much as I LOVE being around people, I equally love being totally alone ⁣ ⁣ I highly value having time and space to process the things I’m walking through or the season that I am in. When I DON’T get that quiet time.. well.. I can get cranky ⁣ ⁣ In order to make sure I get ALL 3 of these things in daily, I intentionally add each one into my schedule! ⁣ ⁣ I block out an hour for working out every Monday-Friday (7am-8am). ⁣ ⁣ Time with the Lord every day (morning 8:30-9am at least, 9pm-on for night). ⁣ ⁣ Quiet time for me is usually twice a day during my breaks (30 mins before lunch, and 30 mins after dinner). ⁣ ⁣ While I DO schedule these things in, the timing doesn’t always happen as I please because well.. life.. so the scheduling is more of a reminder to be intentional about these things rather than “on time.” ⁣ ⁣ What’s one of YOUR daily non-negotiables? We say that prayer is powerful, and yet sometimes we’re slow to go there. . We think about that big thing and worry about that hard thing and phone a friend to vent about that frustrating thing. . We mull it over, sit with it, strategize and prioritize as a reflex. . But the Creator and Redeemer God has told us to make our requests known to him, hand Him our cares and burdens, cast them. Strong’s says that is to throw, hurl, fling. What a picture. . What a reminder for a heart that is so often heavy laden, the Martha in us who tends to be worried and troubled about all the things. . May our positioning here speak of the Truth we profess. May we train our reflexes to point us to Him.

It's been challenging lately in some areas of my life. And it's because God has been saying, "ENtrust this to me, I promise it will be worth it." . ENtrust is so much more vulnerable than trust. So much harder to apply to my life. . But it's the word I keep going back to since the word of the year in January. And I'm seeing tangible evidence of how God has wanted to wrap my life around this word this year and remember it will all be okay. . So I'm ENtrusting my friendships, my family, my faith. My work when finances are tricky on one income. My dreams as certain ones are panning out quite the way I hoped or thought. . But I'm believing He is a good Father. He is worth ENtrusting everything over to. He knows what's best. He takes away but He also gives abundantly. And I want to live my life in a way where I'm abundantly giving back to others, investing in their life, and believing that God will work out the things I can't control (which is most everything). . I'm letting go...and yet, it feels like I'm being held close and peace abounds when I let ENtrust overwhelm my life. . #refineandrestore

When faced with fear many times God is showing us another limit to overcome!⠀ ⠀ Have you ever felt timid when starting a new job, starting a new school or walking into a new experience? Sometimes we have to step outside of our comfort zone to accomplish and fulfill God’s calling for our lives. ⠀ ⠀ But the beautiful gift of God’s Word and spirit is that he equips us with strength. When we spend more time in His Word, we dwell on His promises even more and it can help us overcome any challenge.⠀ ⠀ You can always ask God to embolden your heart- and ask Him to give you the right words when new opportunities arise. He has given you a spirit of power, love and self-discipline to carry through this world wherever you go today and always. When you are walking with God, you are never walking alone.

I’m ready to share something with you guys that has been on my heart for weeks now. . . For the last few years I have been praying for God to use me. To mold me. To grow me. To carve me. To shape me. It’s been a long few years coming, but if I’ve learned anything it’s that God is powerful, mighty to save and worthy of my obedience. . . A few weeks ago I heard God tell me to stop posting on my social media about my business(Maskcara + Plexus). I stayed quite and prayed. Asking and wrestling with God as to why He would want me to hand over something that not only helps provide for our family, but also makes me happy. I didn’t get an answer for quite a while but I knew I needed to be obedient and keep praying. . . One day last week, while i was on the stair master, I was praying and wrestling with this command from God and I so clearly heard the Holy Spirit speak, “if you’re gonna leave any legacy, would you rather it be that you were successful in business or that you were obedient to God in His callings on your life?”. Wow. What an amazing and yet so gentle sign from God. It was an answer to prayer but also a choice. An easy choice for me. . . So with that being said, if you are currently ON my Maskcara Team, I have probably already reached out to you personally. If you are a customer of mine, your accounts will still work the same- they just will no longer be giving credit to me. . . I want to thank everyone who supported my business with Maskcara for so long. Their makeup is incredible and I have no hard feelings or any other reason to be leaving, other than when God tells you to pick up your cross and follow Him... you do it. . . As for what’s next, I’m eager to see what God’s plans are. I’ve been working with MTR Ministry for a few months now and right now, the Lord has me there. I feel a sense of joy in obedience and know this is right where I’m supposed to be.
