I woke up today and felt like the first trimester bloat/what I thought was the start of a real bump has vanished I panicked for a sec HAHA.

First trimester bloat is REAL friends!!

These photos were taken literally within 5 seconds of each other. Now, obviously I’m pregnant lol, but my body can do this to an extent even when I’m not pregnant.

No one walks around with abs and looking jacked 24/7.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I used to think what I saw on social media was real life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m sure some of you think my “flexing” photos are how I walk around all day long, but that’s not the case sista.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your “body goals” might be someone in the perfect lighting, before they’ve eaten anything for the day, flexing so hard that they almost pass out from holding their breath, and guess what else? They might be miserable in that body.

I’m working on this with a few clients currently, to stop the comparison trap, and to be more appreciative of their own CURRENT journey and body.

When is brunch no longer considered brunch? Is 12pm the cut-off?

That’s like asking, if I live in Mexico and it’s always +30, is it still considered winter in November when it’s the same temperature as summer months?

Regardless, I went with @ryallfitness to @nizucresort in Cancun today! We ate brunch at 2pm... And we loved it! Are tacos considered brunch food?

If you said yes then I get ya cause I’ve been there! I tried to be “super good” during the week then on the weekends, watch out cause I’m gonna eat whatever’s in sight (no matter if I really wanted it or not) that “all of none” thinking

Did I reel you in with that headline? It seems to be a hot topic that everyone has a magic fix for. Usually these magic fixes are over complicated, unrealistic and not sustainable - what else is new in the fitness industry right? If you are craving ice cream just grind up a banana and some ice, if you want pancakes only make them with protein powder... you guys know these “fixes” I’m talking about. How about this one...don’t keep that food in your house?
Listen, I’ve been the person that restricted myself from everything but like 5 foods, I’ve been the person that only ate out of Tupperware. I’ve also been the person that said no to social events out of fear of being tempted by foods. You don’t have to live like that, it’s not LIVING.

Essentially, here's how the Added Sugar Challenge works! The American Heart ❤️Association recommends that women keep their added sugar intake to no more than 6 teaspoons a day, which is about 24 grams of added sugar. For men, the recommendation is out 9 teaspoons, or 34 grams of added sugar. Our goal, to stay under these recommendations by focusing on meal prep and mindful eating! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
