MooGoo ‘mudder udder balm’ . I was kindly gifted this breastfeeding nipple balm by @moogooskincare via the @officialemmasdiary & @familiesuk Parent Squad. I am pleased to say this is my new go to nipple balm - I love it! . This balm is lanolin free, has no preservatives and boasts a number of wonderfully moisturising edible oils & butters including jojoba oil & shea butter. It contains Australian honey which is fantastic for promoting healing and protecting damaged & broken skin - as well as being naturally antiseptic & antibacterial . Due to the ingredients, and lack of lanolin, this nipple balm is easily applied - leaving the nipple feeling soothed & moisturised without a greasy, tacky or waxy residue. The balm has small beads of shea butter which melt onto the skin as you apply. Once on the skin you can’t feel the balm is there which is a winner for me. I like that you also don’t ‘stick’ to your breast pads which I’ve found with some of the other nipple balms I’ve tried. You don’t need to remove this balm before feeding. . Retailing at £9.90 for 50ml you can’t go wrong. Due to the consistency of the balm I find a little goes a long way and there’s no wastage. This house loves a party. We had a great shindig the weekend with some lovely company, great food, games round the campfire and even some camping in the garden! Milk donation • • As Theas now 9 months old we can’t donate anymore milk it has been such a pleasure to be able to donate milk & help premature and poorly babies. It’s something I really wanted to look into when I was pregnant with Thea after hearing about our local milk bank when Noah was a baby. I feel so proud that we managed to do so for the last 5 months, the process is so easy to get started and @nwmmb send you everything you’ll need to donate. This morning was a good harvest ... I managed to get a whole syringe worth of milk & I was so happy :) . . This was my first collection of more than just a couple of drops of milk... it then followed by 3 more full syringes this afternoon swipe to see . . Love Has anyone else been asked this question? It’s a hard one to answer because like most things in motherhood nothing goes to ‘plan’ and we all have different breastfeeding journeys.
