I couldn’t even imagine the world being the way it is today. If someone would’ve told me about this world in a story I wouldn’t of believed them. If people would’ve told me how bad religion morphs my beautiful faith into something completely different, based on performance and self abuse and guilt I wouldn’t of believed them. If someone would’ve told me about the vanity that takes place in this world: everyone wanting to be “somebody” to be looked at, glorified , validated. Basically to put themselves in the place of God. Real God’s don’t do that, jesus was humble and gave his life to the people. Anyways I just wanted to share more of my thoughts. I know most of the time we feel as if who we are isn't enough. It becomes dangerous when we internalize likes, compliments, and heart emojis to validate our self-worth. We tend to get lost in the illusion of unflawed beauty and perfect lifestyles to convince others we are living our best life. Most importantly I want to challenge every woman who listens to these words. Once the makeup is removed, once the inches are gone, when you are only skin, bone and spirit naked in the mirror do you truly love yourself for who you are? Only you can answer this question. spoken word written by me — There's peace in my heart knowing I've been redeemed. To know that Some one could love me so much, that they'd die for me. It makes no sense because I'm unworthy and broken, but the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross shows me, his love was spoken. We often hear the story, we tend to become so numb , Jesus the son of God, brutally crucified so our victory would be won. Because of the resurrection I have been set free, there have been so many bondages & chains holding me. I felt useless, insecure, I was never good enough, so I drowned myself in sin. But the resurrection of Jesus took my sin so I could live again. There's people who say they love us but they won't go to the extreme, Jesus let his actions speak louder than words, so We truly know what love truly means. Were all guilty for the death of an innocent man, Jesus Christ became the final sacrificial lamb So let's not take it lightly, understand what it truly truly means. God sent his son as a sacrifice for us to be free.
