Purple day of the #colormycloset challenge . . Here’s another color that I own very little off! Basically this dress, a velvet duster and a silk shirt with some purple in the pattern are all I have, so I did have a couple of options I guess . . I don’t wear this linen dress very often but I can never part with it. I think it’s because it’s the first linen thing that I ever bought when I was first learning about the benefits of natural materials. But there’s a slit up each side so I find it hard to wear on its own and styling it has been a challenge. I decided to layer it over a dress this time around and I like how it turned out so this may be a new way to wear it! . . Have you been enjoying seeing all the colors this past week? Today was a day filled with my favorite things, one of those things being the color purple , thanks to the #colormycloset challenge. Starting this page, even though I haven’t been posting consistently as of late, has brought a lot of great things and people into my life. Today, I went to the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest with tickets given to me by @blackandbrownsj , the vintage shop responsible for me having this glorious purple button down, and @ungramr through a Instagram raffle. I love Jazz, and the artists on the Jazz Beyond stage, like @elujay and @thejujuexchange absolutely killed it.
