BODY WASH || I’ve become a little obsessed with ingredients. The ingredients in products that I am using in, on and around mine and my family’s bodies. I’m definitely no expert, but over the past 12 months I’ve became reasonably knowledgeable about what’s ok and what is a definite no deal ‍♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Body wash, particularly kids wash, is one of things I just can’t get over how bloody bad a lot of the ingredients can be! “Fragrance” (sometimes listed as “parfum”) is the WORST - just a cocktail of chemicals they don’t legally have to disclose But even brands which claim to be #organic, ‘dermatologist tested’ etc are still full of nasties. ⠀ ⠀ So, I just make my own. Why wouldn’t I when it’s so cheap and takes about 1 minute & 30 seconds! ⠀ ⠀ I got this 500ml foaming pump from @naturalgoodlife and the recipe inside is:⠀ ⠀ 5 tbsp unscented Castile soap ⠀ 3 tbsp fractionated coconut oil ⠀ 4 drops vitamin E⠀ 5 drops Lavender essential oil⠀ 4 drops Cedarwood essential oil⠀ 2 drops each Geranium, Patchouli & Roman Chamomile essential oils + top with cooled boiled water . ⠀ You can use less drops if you like, but this pump is big and my kids have a lot of exposure to oils and these are all really beautiful, gentile oils for kids, too. You can also use Tea Tree, Frankincense, Balance, Myrrh, Wild Orange, Grapefruit or even AromaTouch!⠀ ⠀ Love the foaming texture, it’s cheap as chips, my kids aren’t bathing in toxic chemicals and they love playing with the foam sometimes, too! #WinningAllRound ⠀ ⠀ #TheBlendCompany

Did you know there is an emotional and energetic side to oils? For example DigestZen is amazing for physical digestion, but emotionally it’s also fab for processing emotions or new experiences (think overwhelm!). If you are open to kinesiology, acupuncture, reiki, Chinese Medicine or anything of this nature, you already know that everything around us is a form of energy that vibrates at different frequencies. It is physics. Match the energy frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality’. What does this have to do with oils? Like everything, different essential oils have different frequencies. For example, frankincense and rose oil has one of the highest frequencies of all of the oils. Different emotions also have different frequencies (remember emotions are simply energy in motion that moves through our body - hence e-motion). For example - anger and fear has a low frequency whereas love is the highest frequency emotion. When we use oils regularly, we can help to create emotional shifts, clear unresolved feelings and can energetically support ourselves to move towards different emotional frequencies as our bodies align with the frequency of the oil we are using. I don’t pretend to be an expert on the topic. But I have felt the effects myself and find it truly fascinating. I woke with a sore throat this morning. Here’s how I’m soothing it and keeping bugs and nasties at bay. 1 tsp raw or Manuka honey 2 drops OnGuard 2 drops lemon oil If you’re extra brave and can handle unpleasant tastes , try gargling lukewarm saltwater with a drop of OnGuard and lemon oil added. Update on this little peanut... She is a little over a month out from her head injury.... she is doing remarkable considering what we were initially told to expect.... we were told it could be up to a year til we were back to baseline.. * Her speech is completely normal and she is doing life.. We have seen a need for more sleep, naps... Tired eyes, so we adjusted her bifocal prescription and are starting eye therapy... * I have been applying lots of oils along her spine and around her cranium and bottoms of feet throughout the day. The blend; 10 ml roller: 5 drops Frankincense 5 drops copaiba 5 drops Helichrysum 5 drops Lavender 5 drops Balance... Fill the rest w FCO. * Then I have been doing the inflammatory protocol from Symphony of the Cells 3 times a week.. adequately diluted for a 5yr old.... * Before school she likes Balance, Wild Orange and Magnolia Touch on her neck and spine and in her hands to smell....she says , “mom it just makes me feel so good.” * * Needless to say we are paying close attention, doing all the things, and utilizing our oils, hydration, good nutrition, very limited sugar and limited tv, if any... and lots of bubble detox baths and prayer... * She is doing so well!!!! * * Beyond grateful for these oils... literally, “ Gifts of the Earth”.... And more than anything Grateful for our community who rallied around us with prayer.. it was humbling and brought us to our knees. As I sat up last night tired, feeling like I had a million things to do....making beds for the kids... while they played in the bath and dinner wasn’t done til 7:45 because of soccer.. there was apart of myself that was saying, “you can do better, get your act together”... then I stopped and thought, “no, your doing amazing, your human, your limited and you are doing your best”..... last night before bed I did a Symphony of the Cells on Selah... it’s an amazing oil application... and a protocol for inflammation....I started to think of 10 things I am grateful for.... number one, Her Life..... Selah is my “Rainbow Baby”.... I had her after we lost 4 babies... it took two years of fertility treatments.... I get to be her mom, I get to put oils on her, I get to go to soccer, and I get to make her bed just right and comb out her wet matted curls..... these are the moments... this is what life is all about.... it’s these things I would miss if I lost them.... * To all the moms out there, your amazing, your enough and you are meant to be a mom....
