Do you dream? I am a woman with so many dreams. #Dreams for myself, for my children, for the world. But it’s so easy to let them slip away! Though my birthday is 6 days away, today I turn 3 years old in Jesus! I was baptized on April 24th, 2016 and it’s a day that truly left me forever changed. I look at my life long before I accepted Jesus, and see how God so gently cared for every single detail of my story. Rejoicing that my past has been forgiven and my future is now secured! Worshipping because I call my Savior and King my very best friend. Celebrating because this is only the beginning of my story! Here’s to a lifetime + eternity to come of knowing + being known by Jesus. Diggity downnn to dwell in the house of the Lord forever & ever & ever AMENNN! Thank you, Jesus!

The story of Rehoboam in 1 Kings 12:6-10 teaches us that if you desire to make wise choices, go to, listen to, and apply the knowledge of people who know what they’re talking about. Seek wisdom and counsel from people who spend time in Gods word, who listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who have an active prayer life, and who have a few years of knowledge and experience on you. Those are the people you want speaking life and truth into you, to help you make wise and God-honoring choices! If your conversations with your friends don’t often revolve around the Lord, and you wonder if their inner prayer life is very active, then maybe don’t go to them for life advice on big decisions. Wisdom seeks council from the Godly. Tag someone who you look up to as a mentor and wise friend!

I am my sisters keeper. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ As I read Proverbs 14 today (and subsequently cried on IGTV...) the Holy Spirit spoke to me about jealousy I've been harboring in my heart towards women on Instagram I admire. I realized how looking at their lives and accomplishments made me sorrowful for what I don't have and what I've not done. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ But I don't want my bones to rot from envy. I want my heart to be genuinely GLAD for my fellow sisters in Christ who are kicking the devils BUTT through their lives and ministries! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ So today, I am my sisters keeper!
