I could almost see their animals and if this was the only opportunity I ever have to speak to them, that it may better the lives of their animals, then my own anxieties and worries matter not. I had an incredibly blessed day today. An amazing and kind person decided to order 20 of my macrame car diffusers. . Maybe that may seem like nothing that special for companies who sell that many items every single minute. But, to new small family owned shops like mine, it means soooo incredibly much! ❤️ . A friend of mine (@something.gray ) wrote recently about how important it is to support small shops whenever possible. So, I wanted to share a little of what I think on the topic too. . Most of us have at one time or other worked for a large company who basically sold cheep items for over $50 that cost them around $1-$5 to produce from good old China. . Most of us also, don’t mind supporting these big stores, even while knowing it’s a rip off and that basically there’s a few people at the top of the company making all the money. . Yep, I’m guilty of it too. Don’t feel too bad about it. I know sometimes we just can’t afford anything but cheep. . I want to change that though. I may not be able to afford to buy everything I would like from small shops at the moment, but I can definitely try to support them as much as possible. . When you purchase that small item from a family business you are literally helping that family. . You make our day and I get so excited to ship out that handmade piece that I poured so much into. . I am so grateful for each and every one of my supporters. It makes me so full of joy that others are excited about something I made and an idea I thought would be so fun. Copaiba. I think this is one of the most-ignored gems of the essential oil world. It has anti-inflammatory properties, but is gentle enough to be applied directly to toddler’s teething gums. ‍♂️ Unlike the stronger wintergreen also known to soothe muscles and joints, this oil can be applied topically to sooth rashes, irritations, and all sorts of aches from injury or activity. Plus, it has such a faint smell that it is a great entry-level oil if you or someone in your house is sensitive to the smell of oils. ‍♀️ . Personally, I love using this oil in combination with my wolfberry eye cream whenever I wake up with puffy eyes. I’ve even used it straight on my lids and under my eyes on occasion. ‍♀️ .
