If you answered the question incorrectly on the final, you failed the class. Here’s a fact- collar seam lines are the same length as the neckline seam it is sewn to. 1 to 1, no ease. On Earth Day it's worth remembering that the wellbeing of the planet impacts our wellbeing too. In the early nineteenth century, sewage was dumped directly into the Thames, which was also used to supply drinking water . This caricature from 1828 shows a woman dropping her porcelain tea cup in horror upon discovering the contents of a magnified drop of Thames water . Despite knowing about the extreme impurity of Thames water, which increased the spread of communicable diseases such as cholera, the issue wasn't addressed until the 1860s when London's present sewerage system was installed by the Metropolitan Board of Works.
