My new tailors ham!!! It was custom made by my dad & I (dad gets most of the credit ). We finished it today in 110 degree Arizona heat but it was totally worth it! I’m super excited to use it when I get back to my studio in California. . . I worked on a few different patterns & samples in my studio to get the fullness that I was looking for. . . I’m going to be designing a few more pressing tools later for other purposes. There’a a possibility that I may be taking custom orders if there’s enough interest but that may happen much later. Well this was a challenge!!! I found a dress I completely fell in love with (see the last photo!). I had to have it and after some googling I even found the exact pattern! The only problem was it was in Russian I used Google Translate but it didn’t help much. Anyway, I turned on my brain and tried to think. As you can see it worked! Not precisely, because my straps go somewhere else, but meh - it is still gorgeous! It's my birthday today and I decided to wear one of my favourite dresses I made it at the end of summer and it is the perfect spring/summer dress. I used the same pattern as the ever so popular autumn dress with leaves fabric I posted before - the @sewoveritlondon #soiflorencedress On this one I added the frill on the bottom. Love, love, love.
